School Zone Speed Study
Austraffic has assisted Channel 9's 'A Current Affair' with an investigation into speeding drivers who ignore the 40 km/h speed limit within school zones. Austraffic provided the radar gun and trained operator that enabled detection of the speeding motorists. At least one driver was noted at 23 km/h over the speed limit, with many other drivers exceeding 10 km/h.
